8 RULES TO SUCCEED IN THE GYM - Here are the most common rules that successful people live by in the gym: Have A Plan: Know what you are going to do before you come. Don't aimlessly wander around hopping from machine to machine. Use Correct Form: This ensures that you will not get hurt, and also leads to better and faster results. Get Out of Your Comfort Zone: Successful people do things that make them uncomfortable. They push themselves when they want to stop, and do the things that don't come easy to them. Enjoy Your Workouts & Stay Consistent: If you don't (somewhat) enjoy what you are doing, you will never stick with it in the long-run. Find something you like and adhere to it. Don't Overcomplicate Things: Don't be an all-or-nothing type person. If you can only workout for 30 minutes, don't just say screw it & not go because you can't go for an hour. Track Your Progress: Actually see if you are improving as you go. You'll never know if what you're doing is working if you don't have reference points! Ask For Advice: If you aren't sure about something, just ask. Odds are, many people have been in the same shoes at some point. It's always better to ask than to do something incorrectly over and over again. Follow these rules and you’ll have no choice but to crush it in the gym!
