If you were to Google search the above, it's filled with exercises you 'should' be doing to lose weight, such as HIIT, running, cycling etc.
And while it's true that they can burn a lot of calories, it doesn't mean they're the 'best'.
The truth is, there is no best exercise for fat loss. It's not a one size fits all thing.
If you hate running, how often are you actually going to reach for your trainers and head out on one? This means that, for someone who loves running and goes out all the time, weight loss will likely be successful for them, but because you're rarely actually running, it won't be as successful for you.
So the best exercise for fat loss is one that you enjoy and one that you can stick to doing regularly.
Fat loss is about consistency. You can't do one HIIT workout because Google said it'll burn fat and expect to instantly be skinnier. You shouldn't dread working out or there will be little motivation to continue. You need to be willing to train consistently to see results.
If you haven't found something you enjoy, try something new. Get out of your comfort zone and try a new sport, activity or join a gym. I 100% believe there's something out there for everyone.
To summarise, there is no single best exercise for fat loss. The best one for you is one that you enjoy doing meaning you will want to do it consistently.
