I wish I could tell you thereâs a magic pill. But there isnât. Ha! Believe me, unicorn fairy dust doesnât exist. đŠI know, itâs the last thing you want to hear. You want the easy way out. But I want to make something clear: it takes TIME to make changes and see progress. Patience and Consistency. đď¸ââď¸I have been working on my physique for 8 years. If you think youâre going to achieve your dream body in a year, never mind 3 months, I want you to know that youâve set yourself up to be disappointed and frustrated. đ¤ˇââď¸Now, Iâm not saying this to be mr grumpy pants. â đ¤Iâm saying this because I care about you and want you to set REALISTIC goals. Why??? Because... â Setting realistic goals will allow you to actually ACHIEVE them. â If you achieve those goals, it will show you that youâre MAKING PROGRESS. â Seeing your progress will MOTIVATE you to be CONSISTENT. đSee? Itâs a loop. And if you keep going thru the loop, you will achieve the body you want. You will nail that pull-up. You will hit that strength goal. â ď¸But you need to be patient. Cause shit, this stuff takes time. You arenât going to be good at something when you first start! The same principle goes for losing fat or getting stronger. đ¤Stay humble. Remember, you didnât become overweight in one week, you arenât going to make a crap ton of progress in a week either. đWhen you feel like progress is SLOW, remember to embrace the turtle. Slow progress vs no progress. And slow progress = sustainable. đ¤If you enjoy the things youâre doing everyday instead of chasing the outcome, youâll be much happier in the process. â¤ď¸
