New Year's resolutions are a time-honoured tradition, a chance for us to reflect on the past year and set goals for the year to come. Many people make resolutions to improve their health, career, or relationships, but unfortunately, many of these resolutions are abandoned within a few weeks or even days. If you want to make a resolution that will stick, here is a guide to help you succeed.

Finally, don't be afraid to ask for help. Whether it's from friends, family, or a professional, having support can make a huge difference in your success. Can you identify or write down the type of support you might need to help you succeed?

Write down 5 milestones that relate to your goal e.g. every time you lose X amount of weight, or have not consumed alcohol for X days, and then reward yourself with things like a day out, or a new top or jeans, once you achieve each milestone.
